In other review-related news, I posted an enthusiastic review of The Salt Grows Heavy on reddit and multiple commenters said it was 'clearly' paid promo. Nope, I just really, really loved it.
There’s a lot of love for them too! I just thought I was sharing that love in posting about Salt, but yeah apparently I’m a bot. Maybe that’s the weird creature in love with me from your other thread?!
Big win all around. Just finished Don’t Fear the Reaper and The Last House on Needless Street so I can dive into your book. The first two pages look promising. Also, love that I can stuff it in my back pocket (I abuse books) and take it for a hike.
That delights me! My physical books are incredibly battered from being taken everywhere and occasionally dropped in water because I will read in the bath and even the shower.
I am so absolutely thrilled with how the book is making waves, Cassandra! You rock.
Congrats, Cass!
I'm *so* glad to see that folks are appreciating our work so much, and that things are going so well for you in your new(old) city!

I think I know *exactly* which subreddit that is and dear lord, they're so mad at people for not having the same opinions on my books. XD

Baths are one of the best places to read. I get a quarter of my pages read in the tub.
